At the upcoming Hannover Messe, running from 17 to 21 April, some 500 companies will be presenting their solutions for hydrogen production, transport, storage and consumption. The opportunities for all of these companies are vast because, by 2030, the EU Commission wants to install electrolyzers with a capacity of at least 40 gigawatts to produce 10 million tons of green hydrogen in a phased-in process.

E-world energy & water is the place where the European energy industry comes together. Serving as an information platform for the energy sector, E-world is gathering international decision makers in Essen each year. More than one fifth of the exhibiting companies are based abroad. The majority of international exhibitors come from countries of the European Union.

As part of the WEEK OF HYDROGEN, the Leistungszentrum-Wasserstoff Hessen will offer interested citizens the opportunity to talk to experts from the Fraunhofer facilities about the topic of hydrogen on Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 5:00 pm. Current research approaches will be explained and questions answered in a practical and informative manner.
